Antler Trails
Labradors of Antler Trails
Thank you for visiting the Antler Trails website:
Home to the Labradors of Antler Trails and
Antler Trails Kennel Up, Carlton County's Exclusive
Doggy Resort!

Labradors of Antler Trails all began with Rick looking
for an upland hunting dog.  After watching numerous
breeds of hunting dogs in the field, the skill, beauty
and athletic abilities of the lab caught his attention.
Add in the temperament, train-ability and loyalty of
the lab, it's the perfect family dog for an active family.
We are Labrador Retriever enthusiasts, who breed our
labs to continue their pedigree lines.  We focus on
producing a lab that will be your hunting buddy and
a member of your family, along with the traits that
enable you to be a performance or competition event
participant if you so desire.
Please visit the other pages of our website to learn
more about us and our labs.
Antler Trails Kennel Up opened in January 2004 and for
the last 6 years, I have loved welcoming dogs of all sizes
and breeds to stay with me.  It is with a heavy heart and
great sadness that the time has come for Antler Trails
Kennel Up to close it's doors.  As of the end of February
2010, no more reservations will be taken.
Why??  Rick and I have purchased a large commercial
boarding kennel in North/Central Iowa, planning ahead
for when we want to retire and make our living working
with dogs.  Over the last 6 years, it became apparent to
me that I was doing what I was meant to do in life and
Rick wanted to start heading towards what he would
like to do, train dogs.
I would like to thank all my boarders and their parents
for letting me be a part of their life, I will miss you.  We
have shared many fun moments and some sad ones too,
and I will treasure all the memories from the past 6 years.
Antler Trails will continue on, our MN property will
always be called Antler Trails and of course we have our
Labradors of Antler Trails.  It will always be our home.
We have now set off on a new and exciting journey.  The
people of Fort Dodge have been very welcoming and
there is never a dull moment at Critter Camp.  To learn

Thank you and take care,
